    I love how eating healthily is so closely related to good sex :) Unfortunately it’s getting harder and harder to find chemical-free food, since food companies are buying more and more of the market… We need to do something about it before it’s too late, and eat as much organic food as possible!

    Love this! This is really good, simple info for people. Most men I know don’t have a clue about any of this. Men go nuts eating meat (usually conventional) trying to get big and manly. They don’t realize they could be hurting their testosterone. I love that stress was addressed as well, as stress is such a HUGE issue with hormone imbalance in men and women of all ages.

    This is brilliant. At 49 I’ve watched my weight creep up and my libido disappear over the last decade, despite increased exercise and removal of wheat and sugar (usually) from my diet. I knew hormones were important, but I really think I need to get proactive about fixing things.

I’ve read that this pathway can begin to be established in utero. How difficult is this to change? I struggle with anxiety and wonder what it will take to change….

    Great info, but I just wanted to mention to do your own research on Maca before you try it. I started taking raw Maca powder in my protein shakes and for a while I felt great but then started getting a weird sensation in my throat. I did some further investigating and came across that in the raw form it can mess with your thyroid and the non raw form was best to use. I stopped taking it and the feeling went away. Everyone is different though and I always seem to have paradoxical effects from things and know I have a hormonal imbalance, hence why I was taking it. I think Maca is great, but just do the research and know your body.

    I’ve been craving more broccoli and fish recently…. go figure. Will have to keep an eye out for Maca and red up more on that.     Yuri, thank you for your presentation and clearly your passion for nutrition and to help others clearly shows. I am one of those as well but much newer to this. Food really is everything. The closer to whole foods the better you will feel. I am still dealing with adrenal fatigue and I do not have the best response to stress. Wondering how I can increase my adrenal function quicker. I have had adrenal supplements. Is this also linked to my ultra low libido?

    Very interesting discussion. I really enjoyed Uri’s concise and easy to understand approach to sharing knowledge. My one question for his is if you are trail running for say an hour or two but it isn’t flat so there are bursts of energy on the uphills does this constitute duration running which lowers testosterone or is this interval training which helps to increase levels?
