  2. Anna says:

I love how eating healthily is so closely related to good sex :) Unfortunately it’s getting harder and harder to find chemical-free food, since food companies are buying more and more of the market… We need to do something about it before it’s too late, and eat as much organic food as possible!

  3. ZH says:

Love this! This is really good, simple info for people. Most men I know don’t have a clue about any of this. Men go nuts eating meat (usually conventional) trying to get big and manly. They don’t realize they could be hurting their testosterone. I love that stress was addressed as well, as stress is such a HUGE issue with hormone imbalance in men and women of all ages.

This is brilliant. At 49 I’ve watched my weight creep up and my libido disappear over the last decade, despite increased exercise and removal of wheat and sugar (usually) from my diet. I knew hormones were important, but I really think I need to get proactive about fixing things.

After 10 years of marriage and no children yet, we’re still hopeful that both of our bodies might yet become healthy enough to attain a state of health to support this blessing. I’ve learned so much from each and every Summit but this one in particular is just what I needed in such a clear and concise format!!! I found Sean through Paul Chek and so enjoy this diverse group of individuals you’ve introduced us to by crocheting together all their unique research and backgrounds. Yuri’s presentation was absolutely Wonderful !!!

  57. Maggie says:

Thanks Yuri for the tips of what to eat.

  58. Jenell says:

Thanks for the informative presentation. A question came up for me about the pregnenolone steal, where the body favors cortisol as a pathway or response to excitation. I’ve read that this pathway can begin to be established in utero. How difficult is this to change? I struggle with anxiety and wonder what it will take to change….

  59. Heidi says:

Can’t wait to hear this talk

  60. Allison B says:

  61. Jennifer says:

Great topic and great presentation. Loved the information about soy in particular as I’ve got hypothyroidism and have been debating my endocrinologist about the effects of soy on how good or bad I feel. It is definitely time to go back to being completely soy free!

  76. Mary says:

Yuri – your details of a complex subject were simple to understand.

  77. Nicole says:

Great info, but I just wanted to mention to do your own research on Maca before you try it. I started taking raw Maca powder in my protein shakes and for a while I felt great but then started getting a weird sensation in my throat. I did some further investigating and came across that in the raw form it can mess with your thyroid and the non raw form was best to use. I stopped taking it and the feeling went away. Everyone is different though and I always seem to have paradoxical effects from things and know I have a hormonal imbalance, hence why I was taking it. I think Maca is great, but just do the research and know your body.

  78. Kara says:

I have been learning a lot about how food effects everything in our bodies and have changed my eating habits. Yuri gave me more food for thought and things to add to my diet.

  79. Amy Beth says:

Thanks so much for this, I really enjoyed Yuri and the info. Can’t wait to share with to share with my hubby! :-)

  80. Mary says:

I’ve been craving more broccoli and fish recently…. go figure. Will have to keep an eye out for Maca and red up more on that. Good to know I’m mostly on the right track for eating clean and may need to add zinc. Thank you for the pointers. (Side note – the name of the summit was a reason NOT to sign up initially… but the rest of the described content was of enough interest to at least sign up… but the name is also a reason I won’t be able to watch as much as I’d like as that or being through a blog site are reasons I can’t view the site from my work computer…)

  81. Gerry says:

Thanks for the tips on ways to increase testosterone production and advising us on which foods to avoid its depletion.

  82. Stephanie G. says:

Yuri, thank you for your presentation and clearly your passion for nutrition and to help others clearly shows. I am one of those as well but much newer to this. Food really is everything. The closer to whole foods the better you will feel. I am still dealing with adrenal fatigue and I do not have the best response to stress. Wondering how I can increase my adrenal function quicker. I have had adrenal supplements. Is this also linked to my ultra low libido?

  83. Angela says:

    Thanks for the practical suggestions.

  84. Jared says:

Fascinating presentation. Glad to hear my favorite foods are generally in the clear!

Yay, another great summit. Sean, you are the best summit host and you always choose excellent topics and presenters. I love this info, it’s a gold mine! I don’t usually go out of my way to seek out sexual health topics so thanks for condensing it here. I’m learning some really useful things, some of which may never have crossed my radar. And connecting some dots. And turning me on (pun intended) to some good reads: I definitely want to get Dr. Gottfried and Alisa Viti’s books. Thanks!!!!

Yuri, high intensity exercise was mentioned as a testosterone booster, and therefore something to increase

  101. Jessica says:

Very interesting discussion. I really enjoyed Uri’s concise and easy to understand approach to sharing knowledge. My one question for his is if you are trail running for say an hour or two but it isn’t flat so there are bursts of energy on the uphills does this constitute duration running which lowers testosterone or is this interval training which helps to increase levels? Thanks

  102. Shannon Ford says:

    Great presentation!

I love this presentation. My husband and I have been trying to figure this out for a while now and this was just so succinct. I wish I could have a copy to show him when he gets home.
